NFT To ID Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

PKI is crucial because of the encryption and authentication it manages and because it makes possible to ensures trustworthy and secure online communications. For an enterprise, PKI can make the difference between an intruder gaining access to the network through a connected device and keeping a potentially dangerous threat away from the organization.

Each and every NFTS produced through the “NFT Factory” includes certificates issued by NFT TO ID own PKI (think HTTPS versus HTTP only or NFTS versus NFT only). As a result, this new NFTS generation of NFT is certified and trustworthy :

  1. NFT issuer verified by standart methods (domain verification over the registration process).
  2. Trustability is very easy to check manually or at every stage of your application through standart tools (certificates chain or expiry dates, open ssl, solc,…).
  3. New security layers for your Digital Applications : Public or Secured Information encoded in the NFT become available through standard development  libraries and, if needed, only the issuer can decode them off Blockchain (Web3 library, CryptoJS, EthereumJS,…)

NFTS Protocol / Technology for NFT ( Like HTTPS for HTTP ):

Built on top of ERC20/ERC721 standards, NFTS adds 4 simple functions to your NFT code.

This is the cornerstone of the NFT security sytem (Business Protection, Trustability, Authenication, Certification, …)

  • _NFTS_Issuer() : return a string which represent the public PKI reference (exemple “nfttoid.com”).
  • _NFTS_Version() : return a string which represent the protocol version (exemple “v1.0”).
  • _NFTS_CompanyCertificate() : return a certificate as string from the referenced PKI (like a classic .cer file).
  • _NFTS_Certificate() : return a certificate as string from the referenced PKI (like a classic .cer file).

NB, Company and NFT Certificates are linked to the public PKI in the following order : PKI→Company→NFT.
